Better yet, news sources should just clearly state their editorial perspective and then let us decide.

The morning news is doing a segment on him now. A news anchor being interviewed mentioned Cronkite’s editorializing during his news broadcasts - but added that when Cronkite ended a show with his opinion he didn’t close with “That’s the way it is”, because it was his opinion, not fact. That was supposed to excuse it.
How many viewers noticed the difference?
