NW IIICorps both tours. B-32 Hq at Tay Ninh (”Downtown”) 2/32 FA and lifts at Tay Ninh West, fwd resupply at FSB St. Barbara, field work north and west of there.

Roadrunners in the vills between Tay Ninh and Trang Bang areas.

Some work in cooperation with the SEALS at Go Da Ha. They were very anti-social MFs with great chow!

Generally the areas referred to as Fishhook and Parrot's Beak, and into Cambod from there when needed.

I wanted Armor, but even after Armor AIT, if you had 2 years of college math, you got sent to Sill for FA OCS.

Ended up as as an 1193 and 5505/5525, PIO and Broadcasting Officer.

BTW, The real Adrain Cronauer (Good Morning, Vietnam) is alive and well, a lawyer in DC, and an outstanding Conservative!
