“AMARILLO-—Amarillo continues to have the lowest unemployment rates in Texas, that’s according to the Texas Workforce Commission. They say our rate sits now at 5.7%. That is up from last April when it sat at 4.1%. Lubbock is second lowest with 6%.”

Many jobs here in West Texas aren’t very high paying, however.
