Well, if the point is that our Constitution and its principles came under attack even as the ink was drying on the document, I've no doubt about it. One thing comes to mind after doing some earlier reading, our first chief justice(?), John Marshall laid the groundwork for some unusual things to follow.
In any case, I'll take a gander at the articles as time permits.
