This man almost single-handedly lost the Vietnam War through a massive disinformation campaign to turn America’s victories into defeats (the Ted Offensive) and fabricate out of whole cloth Viet Cong victories that were used to demoralize the American public. He should be remembered as one of the great traitors of American history, right there along with Benedict Arnold.

He is personally responsible for the death by drowning of at least 1/2 million Vietnamese people.

I'll forget about him in a sec.

He was worse than Arnold because he was lying to so many more people. Good riddance to him. He can split anchor duties with Baghdad Bob in hell.

he liked the war early in the JFK and LBJ Admin. Never forget that Vietnam was JFK and LBJ’s war. The main objective was to make LBJ even richer. He went in the White House wealthy and left the second wealthiest President after Washington. George was estimated inflation adjusted with his land holdings to be a billionaire. Washington risked it all in the Revolutionary War.

Some people think LBJ had JFK whacked because JFK was going to pull out of Nam. If so - it was motivated by LBJ’s unsatiable greed. The companies LBJ owned or was a major shareholder did very very well in Vietnam.

Precisely. And yet he got to enjoy 92 long years of life in America.

Another one world, virulent America hater.

Pardon me if I fail to shed a tear.

I can't add anything to that, and if I did it would probably be removed.

I agree. His “analysis” of the Tet Offensive was the biggest act of journalistic malpractice in American history.
