And yet they keep electing democrats, thanks to the little blue pockets within this otherwise red state. Any chance Ted Nugent can run for governor?

Unfortunately, the state GOP here is not well organized. Perhaps Rep. Pete Hoekstra can fit the bill for gov. as he is running, but it's a thin bench. Nugent is a great rocker but I don't want him anywhere near the capital. We are enough of a laughing stock.

Most of those pockets already looked like corrupt and impoverished third-world communities. It’s only the working people who propped up the bungling government, unions, and welfare state who notice the difference - maybe some of them will vote differently next time.
