My wife is from OH, we were just there last week-end. Everywhere we went it was like walking through a morgue. Lots of empty office buildings, idol factories, etc. Very depressing. My wife’s family and friends were multiple generations of GM, Delphi and other auto-related industries. I feel really sorry for them, they have nowhere to turn.

Yes - it’s very, very sad. And those jobs are not ever coming back, even though Joe Biden says they are.

Drove past the GM Moraine (Dayton) complex a while back.

Countless acres of empty asphalt - had that ‘Omega Man’ feel to it.
