I was responding to many who repeatedly say that all that is required for this to be over is the production of a piece of paper that can be had for a few dollars, and I was questioning this premise.

Would it put the issue to bed for you if he walked out with a birth certificate and said "here it is"? Would you just accept that and move on?

If the answer to those questions is "no," then you do not agree with the posters to whom I was responding, either.

Hmmm... No. What would put the issue to bed for me is if he fired up his teleprompter, got on television live and said 'effectively immediately and for the good of the nation, I resign...'.

Ermmmm.... That's what we all want here. Obama is literally like some nightmare out of Atlas Shrugged come to life and you're freaking A right I want him gone. If we have to hound him to death over something like this- fine, so be it- whatever it takes. LBJ decided not to run again, right? We have a moral obligation to try to get Obama to leave office. If that's not what you want too you're sort of in the wrong place.
