The difference between Carter and BHO:

Carter was your typical naive, somewhat idealistic (human rights issue)fool of a liberal idiot who clearly didn’t know what he was doing.

BHO, on the other hand, is a hardcore Marxist activist who knows exactly and precisely what he is doing and where he wants to take the country. BHO is no fool. The people who elected him as well as his enablers in the Cogress and the MSM who feed out of his hand are the real fools.

They are trying to pass a law in OK to gain ballot access you have to provide proof of birth. Unfortunately we have to wait until Gov Doofus leaves office in Jan 2011 before that will ever be signed.

All it will take is one state to enact that, and Obama will have to cough it up for 2012.

"Hmmm... so you’re saying that if someone spends hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting multiple legal actions, it proves that they have something to hide...?"

"A natural born citizen is born on American soil of two American Citizens."

Well that eliminates Bobby Jindal too.

Well, putting aside your polite welcome - if it has to be in response to a Federal subpoena, that hasn't happened yet - the subpoena would have to go to the State of Hawaii, wouldn't it? As the holder of the original?

I'm just saying that the construct of "He must be a foreigner otherwise he would just give us the paper and put this to bed" is based on the flawed assumption that what he produced would be accepted as legitimate.

Taitz is not necessarily the standard bearer I'd like to see - the one thing that struck me as the most 'off' was her statement of victory the other day when the CA judge said the case would be decided on the merits - that hearing was pertaining to Taitz' motion for default against BHO, so a judge ruling that the "case would be decided on the merits" means that she lost the motion she was presenting to the court. Trying to turn a loss into a victory for the news cameras is not a confidence-inspiring move.

I disagree. Since I lived in the 47th district for five years at the time in 1994 and in the area 15 years since, I think I am better qualified to say what was going on.

As far as the districts are today...the districts were gerrymandered after Sanchez was elected and most of my area in Fountain Valley went to Dana Rohrabacher’s 46th district.

“Now it is overwhelmingly liberal Democrat.”

There are pockets of “D” but O.C. is still an “R” county, thank you. In fact if you check the Sec. of State's website you will find that the GOP has GAINED the majority in SEVENTEEN counties in the last 16 years. The GOP had gained the majority in 37 counties in 2005 but lost 6 in the last 5 years but has consistently gained ground on the 'Rats in the last 16 years. http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/ror/ror-pages/15day-stwdsp-09/hist-reg-stats.pdf

And before I leave you, as we all know, elections in CA are won by the registered Independents! Of which, I am a proud member. BIG SMILE

The rioting died down when people who were supposed to be getting their gov't checks, stopped getting them.
I thought that it was an interesting premise

Your premise of the USPS non-delivery of government checks within a one-week riot being responsible for quelling the riots is ludicrous on its face. Thankfully, such an assertion is not among any of the more respected descriptions of the events. Perhaps you'll point us to some places where such an assertion is made and supported.

I was thinking Detroit, Gary, Flint and Saginaw completely, followed by vast areas of St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, good grief I could go on all day...

Hint to retailers in the above mentioned cities and others too numerous to name........keep inventories low!

With the right leadership the United States of America, will once again be the shining beacon it was to past generations.

With the exception of prohibition and slavery, I can't think of much else where the US Government has reversed course.

That’s what I was hoping for - ONE state that would require long-form birth certificates from ANY candidate confirming eligibility for office. I want to see if Zero forgoes OK in the primaries to avoid producing it. (And total congrats on the voter ID bill - well done!)
