“Well, note that the whole nation of Canada, with its much touted socialized medicine, has fewer MRI machines than the city of Pittsburgh”.
Probably not a fair example. When steel collapsed the Democrat powers that run Western PA decided that we were going to become a “World-Class Medical Center”. Hence our largest employers are now the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC and BC/BS (all heavily Government supported). The result is that there is a UPMC clinic with some sort of MRI equipment on virtually every corner. MRI’s are likely far over-represented here given our population, and most of them would probably disappear without taxpayer subsidies.
weak argument
Pittsburg is a city of what, 200 square miles?
And a popolation of?
Canada is a NATION of what, 1.5 million square miles?
And a polulation of?
