Sorry - but in an attempt to establish my “fairness” in assessing the competition — I will say I NEVER met a senior HP or Apple procurement or engineering representative or manager that I didn’t respect or consider a worthy hire..
With the exception of course of Ms. Carly Fiorina
I sure do. Several. All hardcore libs.
I should say that most I know are on the tech side, primarily out of the Boston office, not the sales side, which might explain my percentage.
I could see how there could be ‘two Ciscos’ (ie: Two Americas).
agreed
None of us, as far as I can tell.
Um, that was not who was laid off. It's a whole lot worse than that.
My job at Cisco has been relocated to India. About half of the jobs in my (former) group that were "impacted" have been moved there.
Moving to India was an exciting idea for me and solved certain problems, but I was not given that option. I have to apply for my job just like everyone else.
And to clarify someone else's absurd comment - nearly everyone on the floor of the building I worked in was laid off and no one I knew there was an Obama-ite.
There are two Ciscos. Management and the rest of us.
I seriously doubt Obama got any significant number of Cisco employee votes. Office gossip had John Chambers pegged as a cabinet selection in a McCain presidency.
Corporations are lining up to go to the Bahamas and Sweden.
Capitalism and Socialism don't mix.
