The “Czar” thing goes way back. First one I can remember is the Drug Czar.
To paraphrase the old joke, we already know what we are, now we’re just working out the details.
FDR had czars but they were called “dictators” in those days.... and BTW remember to boycott businesses that don’t fly the Presidents’ National Recovery Administration flags and stickers.
