I feel we are all in the early stages of a multi-act play. It's hard to tell how it will end, but it is clear this is a tragedy, not a comedy, that we are watching--and there will eventually be audience participation.

These are very powerful, and ominous, words.

Lori, the multi-act play will end when all of the people in the picture after your post are horizontal and at ambient temperature.

LOL. I’ve been in Galt’s Gulch since I was 50 years old in 1995.

“Won’t mean a thing until the Republicans take back the house or senate.” :(

You think that’s going to make a difference?

There IS no Republican or Democrat any more. The terms don’t mean anything.

Either you believe the state has the power, and tells individuals what rights they have, or the individuals have the power, and delegates some of that power to the government.

I’d say we live in a country where the vast majority believe the State should have the power, and should tell one group or another what power they have.

There’s only one party in Washington right now, and the same thing would be true if Republicans were running things. This is what we learned during W’s administration.

Goldman has a PR problem.

The Jews had a big PR problem during the last depression. Both Goldman and Sachs were Jews. Using capitalist companies as targets has become the more socially acceptable version of blaming the Jews.

"There’s only one party in Washington right now [...] This is what we learned during W’s administration"

100% correct. There is no longer any doubt that we are ruled, not represented but ruled, by a oligarchy. The two party system at the federal level is a scripted farce. The word is getting out and the people are not happy.
