It’s not the place of individual soldiers to decide whether they think the CiC is “legitimate” or not and whether or not they feel like obeying orders. Did these soldiers ever see Bush’s or Clinton’s or any other President’s “long form, vault copy Birth Certificate”? Did you?

No, I've never seen the birth certificates of Clinton or Bush - don't need to, I believe both of them to be natural born US Citizens. I do not believe that Obama is natural born.

I can't believe you and so many other freepers believe that the military should just blindly "follow orders". Here is the military oath of enlistment. Notice that it says that the enlistee will defend the Constitution against DOMESTIC enemies and that they will obey orders "according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice." That means "lawful" orders by "lawful" officers and a "lawful" CIC.

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
