The left want us to form a third party so that Zer0 gets reelected. Conservatives need to stick together and take back the party. Sarah seems determined to at least try. I don't think she will go third party.

The CNN title is very misleading. He wasn’t warning her in any way! He was entreating her to stay with the Party! Typical biased reporting. No matter how you feel about the Republican Party, or a Third Party, don’t be confused by this reporter’s slanting of the title!

The stars may be aligning for a successful third party. Conservatives, both Rat and Pub, are both disatisfied with their parties. No doubt many so called moderates are also disatisfied with both parties. BO and the Rats are running the economy into the ground. As the PTB in the Pub party are dissing a political superstar, Sarah might as well go third party route. Most likely, whatever is left of the Rats and Pubs would merge into the elite statist party.

Beware of “former Governors of Arkansas” bearing gifts.

From the article:

The comments come days after Palin told the Washington Times she intends to spend her days out of the Alaska governor's mansion campaigning for both Republican and Democratic candidates whose ideas she supports.

Uhhh... I just read the Washington Times article again. She didn't say that. They worked really, really hard to imply it, though. Lazy journalism involves paraphrasing other lazy journalists.

Huckabee is a typical RINO. Like the Gipper said, he didn’t leave the dem party...it left him.

"That would be a big mistake because we need to rebuild the Republican Party, not abandon it.""

You mean You Rino's need her to maintain the old boys club.

She, however, doesn't need a red liberal like you, Huckleberry. She's not out to rebuild the same old same old. She's going to start new, and shut you liberals out.

We didn’t abandon the Republican Party, The Republican Party abandoned us.

When you are faced with a slow-growth marketplace, it ALWAYS better to acquire a top-tier player and swap out management and technology. Starting from scratch only works if everyone starts from scratch. Organizational costs are huge!

The GOP is ripe for an internal takeover. Let Sarah use the Tea Party movement to establish the platform and voice, then move into position. Drag along any blue dog Democrats, if you can, since their votes deny the DNC a majority.

Hey, Carl Icahn could revamp the GOP in six months or less.

With one public statement, Sarah Palin has given voice to conservative frustrations and shaken the RINO establishment to its foundation.

It will be fascinating to watch this play out.

Former SF Mayor Willie Brown on Sarah Palin: "the best political instincts I've ever seen".

Never have been exactly why Huckabee gives me the creeps. I disagree with a lot of politicians, but the distaste I have for him is unique.

It’s odd...

All conservatives and libertarians should abandon the GOP, which is the biggest impediment to conservatism in the US today. The GOP is utterly impotent, unable even to stop the racist Sotomayor.

Huckabee told FOX News. “I’m a little concerned when I hear her say that she may sort of branch out and go third party or go independent.

Ah Mike, she has NEVER said anything of the sort. Stop sucking on the teet of the state run media and learn what the facts are before you say something that is so blatantly untrue.

That would be a big mistake because we need to rebuild the Republican Party, not abandon it

Translation:

The GOP is not about to nominate a real conservative like Palin. We are going to nominate a loser like me, but we do need Palin in the party to sucker those conservatives into voting for us one more time.

The libs have control of both parties, thereby denying the people a choice. They want to keep it that way.

I don’t.

When the Huckster announces he is not ever going to run for POTUS again to clear the field for Palin, I’ll believe him. Assuming he actually does as he says, that is.

Huckabee is a liberal. He talks conservative now but his record is liberal. He’s worse than Romney and McCain.
