More likely an opening move for his court martial.

They’re just putting in the paperwork notifying Afghanistan that he’s not coming.

Even if there is a court-martial, which I doubt, there would then have to be discovery. This would be good.

I am on the same page as you.

It is a bit premature to declare victory.

The long awaited light at the end of the tunnel is most likely an oncoming train.

Wrong. He will be able to demand the BC at any court martial. Remember Americans back in 1776 risked it all and many lost it all. Our soldiers and citizens have been let down by the legislative branch and judicial branch.

I have been saying all along is the military pressuring the judiciary is the only way the truth will come out.

A few in the military are essentially telling the judicial branch - “do your job.”

When dozens then hundreds then thousands say it and unemployment hits 15% then the public might wake up.

More likely an opening move for his court martial.

Or they're going to have him declared "unfit" based on a mental disease or something. Perhaps they'll try to cure him with some shock treatment or something.

Major Cook is not refusing orders. He requested a temporary restraining order to determine if the orders were legitimate. While a court martial could happen, I don’t forsee a prison sentence.

BS. First move to his courts martial would have been to arrest him. If Bozo is indeed legitimate, arresting this guy would have been the way to go, and then charge him with missing a move during war time. They didn’t have to rescind his orders.

No court martial. Too formal. Rescinding the order closed that path.

No, they’ll follow Trump’s path with whazzhername Miss California: defuse the situation, wait for the hysteria to blow over - then give an order which cannot reasonably be refused, but which cannot in good conscience be carried out (or otherwise demeans the individual), persuading the person in question to resign in disgrace.

Whatever part of the service he’s in, at best he’ll be peeling potatoes until his term is up.
