Due to this being an AP story, you must go to the link to read the entire article, but this is one of the most chilling examples of Obama's thuggery that I've seen so far.

Senator Kyl expresses his skepticism of the effectiveness of stimulus spending. No big deal, you say? Well, the governor of Arizona, a RINO, has received letters from cabinet members threatening to pull money for funding various projects in her state if Kyl doesn't shut up.

I've never seen this level of bullying and corruption in the White House, ever.

This is a great opportunity for the AZ GOP to put rat politicians in AZ on the spot. Do they support 0 at the expense of their state, or do they support their state at the expense of their overlord? We’ll have to see how this plays out.

I’m sure McCain will remain quiet.

[I’m sure McCain will remain quiet.]

From the article (just to keep the facts straight):

John McCain, the state’s senior senator, backed up his colleague: “I strongly support the comments of Senator Kyl and call on the administration to retract its threat against the citizens of Arizona.”

The president of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry also came to Kyl’s defense, posting a column Tuesday on the chamber’s Web site under the headline: “Don’t Bully Arizona.”

No, he'll probably come out and say Obama is doing a bang up job and is a fine president.

Asspress loves their gangsters. Arizona is very Republican right now, since our gangster in chief joined the Chicagoland empire in DC.

They are mad at more than just Kyl.

In the article is says that McCain is supporting what Kyl says. It also says that Governor Brewer is supportive, but we’ll see. Personally, I’d love for Arizona to bite the bullet, cut spending where it can and needs to be cut, and tell Obama and his thugs to shove their stolen money up their collective asses.

But then, I’m just a sweet little Christian homeschooling mom. What do I know?

McCain might have said that, but my gut reaction is that rinos shy away from a political fight. I hope McCain does something, and the AZ GOP takes advantage of this opportunity.

But as they say: actions speak louder than words.

Hey, 0bama takes no prisoners. Remember.

Jon Kyl is a brave man. Send him an email. Tell him you are supporting him and that he should NOT back down. Remind him that he has the “bully pulpit” of CSPAN and can tell his story there . . . to be repeated on YouTube all across the Nation and the World.

0bama is not the person he wishes to be. He’s a lonely ten year old child who misses his Mama and who wants to be “president” but not if it entails real work.

0bama is a fraud. Jon Kyl is becoming an American Hero. And maybe even a Statesman. http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml

Hey Obama, shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. How about we ignore your Federal mandates, mine unrestricted for Copper, Uranium and Coal, invest in Solar on vast swaths of Federal (read PUBLIC) land, invest in a few nuke plants and oil refineries, and go it on our own, you (literal) bastard!

I've just been reading the section of The Age of the Unthinkable: Why the New World Disorder Constantly Surprises Us And What We Can Do About It where the author talks to Gorbachev about what happened when the Soviet Union fell. Not getting a good answer from Gorby, he offers his own opinion.

The Soviet government's operational staff -- military and civil -- was called the nomenklatura, literally "list of names". As Gorby was reforming the system that gave the nomenklatura their privileges, the nomenklatura decided they had more to gain by letting the Soviet Union fall apart than by keeping it together. These same people are now the Russian mafia and corrupt billionaires running Russia behind the scenes.

If Obama can use his thuggery to strong-arm a few RINOs to the dark side, we are truly doomed.

This is exactly what they wanted all of that stimulus money for. Obama and his thugs are going to use it to try to force votes on their legislation.

“Oh, you’re not going to vote for Health care? All of your stimulus money is going to be pulled and we’re going to run ads in your home state saying that you voted to close hospitals, kick people onto the streets, and release pedophiles into the public”

In 2010, we better take back both houses and we better pass laws repealing all of the stimulus that hasn’t been spent and investigate every dime that was. And if by some miracle, the Birth Certificate hearing goes through, stimulus money should be immediately halted until Obama’s status as legally allowed to spend that money can be determined. Go to a courthouse with a favorable judge and get an order to stop all spending by the executive branch until he proves his citizenship. Take away his arms like he wants to take away yours!

They are using every resource to destroy capitalism and create a pseudo-tyranny, the people need to realize what kind of fight they’re in and elect the right people to office. Those with the resources to not care about the luxuries elected office brings. It’s time to bring in the hansen brothers of politics.

“When a man or woman becomes accustomed to the lifestyle their office affords, they lose the will to fight. The risk becomes too great. The reward too expensive.” - Daniel Bryan, Washington Post, Letter to the Editor, March 2009

Kyl sounded demoralized on Levin today. Mark asked him if one single Democrat would vote against Sotomayor. He said no and that they have the votes.

Mort Zuckerman, one of the “McLaughlin Group” regular Democrats, was on Kudlow’s CNBC show today. To me, his mood was one of undisguised disillusionment with Obama. His outlook for the economy was very gloomy. He equated Obama’s “Stimulus” package with Democratic Part “wish list fulfillment” and added that transfer payments and welfare were ineffective as economic stimulus.

Art Laffer appeared with him and thought we were in for a disaster.

I haven’t seen it, but he also wrote an article in today’s Wall Street Journal about the economic outlook being much worse than is generally thought.
