Heard it on AM radio I had on for background noise, but I was doing something else when it was mentioned so it did not get my full attention, which is why I said I am not certain of its accuracy. I doubt the thousands of people who've passed that photo around ever checked into it so it may very well be true the guy was not looting. Lacking any proof other than a funny circumstantial photo, I have to assume the radio comment was right.
I listen to Tampa and New Orleans radio so I can't narrow it down but I vaguely recall it being on a New Orleans radio local call-in show in the morning.
