To all the KOS nuts and the DU lurkers……..Taxpayers just footed the bill last month for Michelle to take her kids to Paris and London, now the Russia, Rome trip with cousins, Mom, all the kids.... the White House will not reveal the cost to taxpayers of the European vacation that Michelle and her 2 daughters took last month or how much it costs for all of the friends and family that they drag along each time they go anywhere. You can bet it’s a bundle of $$$$$. My money, your money, every citizens money. Hard earned tax payer dollars. Apparently the White House feels there is some sort of executive privilege involved in withholding the cost of the extravagances from the citizens who foot the bill for them since they refuse to release the numbers. Must be pretty shameful. Maybe Shuster can find out and report it or Olbermann, surely one of they can get that info, I'm really curious as are many others.
I doubt people knew that when Michelle said they would “have to give up a piece of their pie, so that others could have more” , that she meant the others that would have more were the Obama's themselves. I feel bad for the people that voted for them and believed in that hopey changey thing and "yes we can". I imagine right about not they are feeling pretty dumb for falling for that one. Next time they should ask what is that hope and change and yes we can what?
They're losing their jobs, homes, can't get a credit card, banks not loaning money but the obama's are spending tax payer dollars like they are high school kids that just got a credit card with no limit.
Michelle really likes to spend that $$$$$ while she tells everyone else they need to give up some of their pie. 5950.00 and 1595. clutches, 650. Lanvin sneakers in every color, dozens of pairs of JimmyChoo shoes at 5-900.00 a pop, full time makeup artist and wow….. that staff she has is going to end up being bigger than the presidents. Most of you won't be pleased to learn that your tax dollars are paying $1,448,500 MILLION DOLLARS annually to provide Michelle, with the staff she feels she needs to execute her duties as FLOTUS. This doesn't include their expenses, only their base salaries. Then there is the occasional pizza night and flying in the chef from a St. Louis restaurant to kick back and share some deep dish with 140 of their close personal friends. Nor does it include date nights in Chicago or the 250,000 date to NY to see a play.
There is nothing wrong with liking the finer things in life, I like them myself, but I don't tell others they have to give things up for me to have mine. Greedy, elitists, but most people knew that a year ago. It's now being confirmed and the tanking polls show that the people that fell for it, are realizing that what they hoped they would get is not what they are going to get.
Now, since we have to pay for the every Tom, Dick and Harry to tag along on our dollar, the least they can do it dress accordingly and try to not make our country look bad. Show some class, some dignity, some respect. They are after all, accompanying the president on official business, they are not on spring break in Cancun. It was these silly little pictures that started it all by appearing in articles from Europe that criticized the pictures. I'm sure if it was Palin's kids or Bush's twins in these pictures the liberals wouldn't have said a word. Uh Huh... right. I don’t know what all comments were made and I really don’t care. I saw a few, some were a tad over the top, again I don’t care. As far as I know the first amendment is alive and well and God knows the left sure makes use of it. Ask Sarah Palin. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it, typical Alinsky, won’t work, you will fail and fail badly.
