Oh yeah, Huckabee/Powell. That's the
New York Times dream ticket. Unless McCain wants a rematch.
And if it was Huckabee/Powell, I'll give you even odds that Powell would still endorse Obama.
Who comes up with this shi-ite?

HUCK is A OK by me....... compared to that socialist in the WH? Are some of you kidding yourselves. First and foremost support anyone who wants to lead this party as it has gone of the cliff. Seriously. ANd if you all think some perefct conservative purist is going to win in the new country take a breather. Get real. We are a moderate nation. Or we can only hope.

B.S. Huckaweasel is an absolute non-starter for half of the GOP. He will force so many conservative votes to the sidelines that it staggers the mind.

Huck might well reprise his role as spoiler in 2012, and again provide a big assist to another RINO as he did for McCain in 2008.
Vote splitting can give us another RINO, so more conservative Republicans better decide on a candidate early in the primaries.

Oh boy... here we go again! What you MUST understand is that IF the GOP nominates another RINO...Huckabee included... then look to the DNC and whoever survives their primaries will be the winner.
I know what you're going to say to me after I write this. Everybody does. We've heard it all before. You're going to accuse us of being destructive, or purists, or you'll try to convince us of Huck's conservative core value system.
Let me repeat myself. If the GOP nominates another RINO, we will abandon them like a torpedoed ship...and we won't give a damn who is running in the DNC position. There is the ever so small possibility at this point in time that we propel "somebody" upwards and into a winning position simply by sheer force of numbers alone. But if the GOP nominates another RINO, we will leave them standing.
So tell us that we'll be handing the election to the left, or that we have to line up behind the GOP in order to WIN, or how electibility has something to do with it, or how Huckabee is really a conservative. Then sit back and see how it all pans out, and when you finally realize that what I've told you has come true, remember that I wrote this here at this time. It won't mean a lot by then, but it will be important that you remember it.
After it's all said and done, if what I've suggested above comes true, you'll bear more responsibility than us because you will have been WARNED and therefore could have averted trouble. What do the GOP-sheep warn us of? ...that the sky is going to fall and that we'll have leftists in control if we don't support their flavor of leftist?
I know that people who still line up brainlessly behind the GOP fear people like us. I don't blame them. If I was a GOP-sheep, I'd fear us too! But the GOP-sheep are going to have to choose who they fear more! Will it be those of us who promise to abandon the GOP when they nominate another RINO? Or will it be the GOP themselves threatening them to either support their RINO leftist or be stuck with the DNC leftist? Or will it simply be the fact that the democRAT party is in the race? It's GOT to suck being totally ruled by fear, but if we have to play the fear game with GOP-sheep then I suppose we will. It seems cruel, but they DO seem to respond to fear!
I was fairly measured with my words the last time we discussed these sorts of things here, but I'm just not into mincing words anymore. What I'm trying to tell you is that we will knowingly bring DESTRUCTION to this nation if the GOP nominates another RINO. But we will perform this through omission. GOP-sheep on the other hand will perform this through commission. They'll vote for the RINO leftist hoping to get screwed a little less than with the DNC leftist. We're just not into getting screwed at all....and frankly, a good old fashioned shooting war would solve this problem. I cringe at the thought personally, but it WOULD definitely leave one side standing!...and that WOULD solve the problem!
If the GOP-sheep think it's bad now, let's see what things are like in 2010. I'm of the opinion that the American public isn't going to wake up until they've hit rock bottom, and we're just the people to see that this happens...so we can HELP THEM of course. :-)
Call it tough love...call it whatever the hell you want to. We don't care. I'm just telling you what's going to happen. It's up to you to assimilate it, comprehend it, and then react accordingly.
