Now comes word that U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, a reservist who lives in Florida, is challenging his deployment based on that argument. Reports the Ledger-Enquirer out of Columbus, Georgia: "Cook’s lawyer, Orly Taitz, who has also challenged the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency in other courts, filed a request last week in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector for his client."

It would be ironic that in the effort to turn over every rock to gin up ratings, CBS turned over the rock that would be the one to end the Obamanation that is taking this nation on a ride to disaster.

This guy is on thin ice. If anyone thinks Obama is just going to step down, you’re deluded. He’ll just ignore this whole issue, at worst he’ll tie it up in court for years.

He is willing to go just as soon as Obama can prove he meets the constitutional qualifications to order him to do so. He doesn’t have a problem with the war on terror; just wants to make sure the orders are lawful.

Your missing the point. The major has sufficient legal grounds under established black-letter military and civilian law here. Unless BHO can establish himself as a citizen of the US, he can’t be commander in chief.
That exposes any officer to the charge that they suspected the orders issued to them were illegal, and followed them anyway. That’s a war crime. It’s also a fair point.
Moreover, it’s a fairly inexpensive legal point to resolve, unless, of course, BHO isn’t a citizen. Most of us need the same documents being asked of BHO to enroll their kid into public school.
BHO can open access to the required documents and end this thing tomorrow morning.
The major can then be on his way to his post. The major is doing his job. He’s loyal to the Constitution, not the Pentagon. That’s the oath I took, at least.
I think even the MSM is beginning to think 2+2 does not equal 5 but also don’t let your guard down and remember Alinksy tactics. Beware that Axelthug and little Rahmbo, Soros and pals are not heating this up right now to divert attention from health care. DO NOT get so wrapped up in this that you let that monster get passed. Priorities. Kill health care, or postpone until after the August recess then onto the BC. Please.
I would be surprised if the majority of our soldiers felt comfortable serving with Dems leading everything. I’ve already read that Obama has cut upgrades for safetly equipment in next years budget. It’s bad enough that we ask them to risk their lives for us but it is unconscionable to send them to do that without the best safety gear we can provide! Looks like the military will be just like GWB found it after Clinton cut their budgets for so many years.
Actually, if the Zero is NOT LEGALLY the President / Commander in Chief, ANY order issued by the President by other officers acting on behalf of the illegal President ... those orders would be “.... illegal”.
And as every soldier, sailor, airman and marine it taught, and is the outcome of the Nuremberg trials, that an illegal order is NOT to be obeyed. Therefor, if the officer believes that the order comes from someone not properly part of the chain of command, it is BEST for that officer to obtain legal guidance and confirmation from the courts.
We'll just have to multi task!

I didn’t even need to fight, the administration blinked and showed it’s cards, actually they showed that they have no cards to play, as they immediately revoked the order for major Cook. You can see below, the revocation is below, saying he doesn’t need to go.
What does it mean? It’s proof that we have a totally illegitimate commander in chief and they will cave in each and every situation. It means that from now on any member of the military, who doesn’t like any order , needs to call Dr. Taitz, ESQ and state that he doesn’t want to follow the order, a legal action will be initiated based on Obama’s illegitimacy in office and the military will cave in. It means that for the sake of covering up for Obama and fraud perpetrated, top brass of the US military is willing to undermine integrity of the military. This has to stop.
