I found this out when I tried to go on their site the other day. Apparently Miracle-Grow or someone bought them out - too much leveraged debt to survive in the economy?

Too bad...they had some nice things although I didn’t shop there a lot.

I received word via an email from the company this morning. Like you, we did not shop there often, but I loved their stuff, and DH is a big yard guy, so I could always count on them for the neatest stuff for Christmas, and birthday time.

It is a shame. My husband, the gardener, bought some of their pieces (not too many, who could afford it?). Really lovely, high quality items.

Several high end home/garden businesses, like Home Depot’s Expo, also went out of business with the downturn.

We got a couple nice things and some stuff that was really trash.

I wouldn’t shop there again.
