I think the economy is actually ready to rebound but for all the uncertainty about health care, cap and trade, union card check and tax increases. If congress could just go into hibernation for a year or so we could get a real recovery.

These are all big issues for recovery. But the deficit is the looming monster. It will abort any recovery unless the world finds 1.2 trillion dollars a year to loan us for the next 10 years at interst rates that don’t abort the recovery (the alternative being big-time inflation).
