You repeated questioning of the service history of those with whom you disagree implies the notion that only a soldier knows a soldier's duty.

Nothing could be more spurious to the question at hand.

This is the same mentality prevalent in the pop culture that suggests that only a pregnant, single woman can judge the morality of abortion, or that only a Black male can adjudicate a criminal case involving a Black male defendant.

This same mentality is currently being used to make a freight train appointment of a totally unqualified woman to the Supreme Court.

An officer's oath is distinctly different from that of an enlisted man, in that there is a conspicuous absence of any reference to the CIC:

"I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God." (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)

I could continue with references to both domestic and international law (think Eichmann) that clearly establish that officers have a duty of conscience that superceeds the Chain of Command, but I'm sure you get the idea. One final question, Mike -

What will you do when (inevitably) The Usurper issues orders that violate the Posse Comitatus Act?

No, I just find it interesting how you can cheer someone on in the destruction of their military career when you've never worn the uniform and you still didn't answer my question.
