I want to see something to go into space!!!!
Congratulations! A Fantastic Launch! and OBOZO didn’t have a chance to screw it up like everything else he touches!:-)
Is there a Video we can view for those of Us who missed this Historic Launch?
It turned out the Flash 9.x would play the audio but forever say loading on the video. No message about needing Flash 10, but that was the trick.
I hate every upgrade of every software module. Each upgrade hogs more and more memory and runs slower and slower on the same machine. It’s an industry that is all about forcing you to buy a newer machine just to maintain performance, not always about better end results. And we all see here, the internet streams are made not backwards compatible, on purpose.
I reread the entire thread and it was almost like watching it live! Good job babe :-)
Since Space X is our customer, we aren’t allowed to release any video until they give the go ahead. They want to manage the PR, which is good business management. They have a lot of future contracts riding on the success of these missions.
They are a great bunch to work with. They are enthusiastic young engineers who work their ***es off in 90 degree tropical heat to make this work. And they got it done twice in five shots. It took NASA about 13-14 tries to get it right. They also get into space at 1/10th the cost per pound of payload as NASA.
