A federal grand jury has indicted a Brooklyn Park man of Somali descent on charges of conspiracy to aid a terrorist organization and conspiracy to "kill, kidnap, maim or injure."
Salah Osman Amed made his first appearance in federal court in Minneapolis this afternoon before Magistrate Judge Susan Richard Nelson. While the indictment against Amed was unsealed, it was not immediately available after the hearing to provide details.

After the hearing federal officials would not comment whether Amed's case was connected to the investigation into the disappearance of up to 20 local men of Somali descent. It is believed that the men returned to their families' homeland to fight in the continuing civil war there. Four have died there.

PING!
Jihadi Enabler Ping!
DHS must have read my post from last night accusing them of utter failure in investigating, detaining, and prosecuting those Somali associated jihadi enablers........
Lol! I just posted this, with a slight update. It is now two of them.
Keep up the good work.
Far be it from any of us to impede them in their desire to return to their homeland, ancestral or otherwise.
Yeah, I just saw that!
“A federal grand jury has indicted two men — including a Twin Cities man of Somali descent — on charges of providing material support to terrorists and conspiracy to “kill, kidnap, maim or injure.”
Abdifatah Yusuf Isse and Salah Osman Ahmed, 26, of Brooklyn Park, were indicted back in February, but the indictments were sealed.”
He should have been from Minneapolis however Myron Orfield chose to spread the wealth at taxpayers expense without ever having to hold elected office.
Just another liberal concoction of destruction.
Notice that the story has been revised and now there’s TWO of ‘em.......
I posted the same article that you did on my site, I checked the links to see that they were working and within minutes the article changed to two of them.
Mr. Walsh is really a good reporter and a decent guy. I’ve had a couple of e-mail back and forths with him on different subjects. He’ll stay with this one and give us good, timely updates.
Nice to see a reporter with some guts.

They're on a roll or times are tough in the cabbie business. (flame on...)
What makes me feel good about what happened today is that the Feds are in charge and they rarely prosecute a case that they can’t win....
It must be a slam dunk then, right?
Might take a while, but, probably. These indictments were made and sealed in February. Evidently, today marked the day that the Feds were well confident in their investigation and the indictments were unsealed. Nobody saw this coming.
