[I Buried My Guns]

I have been told that there is now a diversity program in place for astronauts. Not enough non-whites in the program, apparently, and that made some people sad, so there is now a type of Affirmative Action at work.

I do not know the particulatrs, but hearing that news gave me a pit in my stomach. I guess we're no longer pursuing excellence as our ultimate goal, but rather a warm-fuzzy, feelings-based policy where diversity is the ultimate goal.

Speaking of, how is that Ugandan space program going?
