Actually, I did. It may have been to you a few days ago. Aother lie of yours exposed.
Me: Put up or shut up.
You: One of evos favorite sayings.
Typical response when you can’t back up your lies.
Thank you for sharing your insights, dear tpanther!
One of evos favorite sayings.
So why is it that evos like to behave so arrogantly and act like they own the site and can tell others what to do like that?
Who put you in charge?
Are you a mod?
It’s sad...they want to ban normal people without God hang-ups from all public realms...science class...even FR.
Only the self-absorbed to the point of not understanding how they stick out so sorely would try it on FR of all places.
Some kind of mental illness I guess thinking they’ve somehow been given the keys to science, and everything else.
But these are the clowns that can’t even get themselves banned to impress DC we’re talking about here!
What if some group wants geocentricty taught in public schools?
You’ll have to do alot better than that for the sir-project-alot title to steal this away from DevNet and xcamel. Among others.
Wow...the freedom to teach your children as you see fit was the dark ages.
Good night sore-thumb-water.
Another false projection by you, the king of projectionists.
Another false projection.
I just happened to blunder across your reply while viewing the comments tab, and felt compelled to comment ... it's all relative, I guess, but this is particularly rich, coming from you.
“What if some group wants geocentricty taught in public schools”?
So what? I would give them the floor. Tell them to convince me it should be heard and go from there. I like all the information to make my informed decisions, as opposed to the Ward Churchhill’s and Bill Ayers doing my thinking for me like you do.
What if someone demands there is no God and that all life came from muck with no purpose, no intelligence, no design, and that you’re nothing but a poo flinging great ape by nothing other than blind chance?
What if someone wants everyone to believe like you do that the freedom to teach their children in public schools was the dark ages?
Oh wait...that’s exactly what you propose we keep with the current NEA liberal indoctrination centers today!
Really sore-thumb-water...you’ve been educated as many times as I can remember by too many people to count.
Troll elsewhere. You’re simply unworthy.
Some of these liberals must be off their meds if they think they don't stick out like raging sore thumbs in here.
So what?
What if some group wants to teach anthropogenic global warming?
What if some group wants to teach that homosexuality is good?
What if some group wants to teach how to put condoms on produce?
What if some group wants to teach Everyday Math?
What if some group wants to teach whole language reading?
What if some group wants to teach that proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation isn't important any more?
What if some group wants to dumb down tests so more kids pass?
What if some group wants to give kids A's for trying, not mastering the subject material?
Your *what if* scenarios are ludicrous in light of what's really wrong with public education and in light of the fact that I don't see anybody pushing for teaching that.
Evos can only discredit strawmen creationists. Real creationists are far more reasonable than evos can comprehend and far more reasonable than your average liberal agenda in public education evolutionist/atheist.
Excellent post, metmom.
We’re not even related to neanderthals, much less any of the apes.
Very good argument, dear sister in Christ! Thank you!!!
I guess my mind was corrupted by hearing about geocentricty.
So what? Teach what it IS. How can one properly understand modern cosmological theories if one doesn't know "where they came from" in the first place?
Geocentricity was an eminently rational conjecture back in the day when the human observational equipment was pretty much limited to unaided visual perception. On that basis, it was perfectly reasonable to conclude that the heavens did look like a "wheel" turning around a central hub, the Earth. When improved observational tools became available (e.g., telescopes), "anomalies" phenomena that appeared to contradict the geocentric model were detected. Which spurred on scientific inquiry to the point where it could be recognized that the model was faulty, and a better one needed. Improving on it was what motivated the work of such great minds as Copernicus and Kepler. Without geocentric theory, perhaps today we would not have even heard of their names.
Isn't this how science is supposed to work? Why not let the kids see "how the sausage is made" which in astronomy and scientific cosmology means you have to start with geocentricity.
“Isn’t this how science is supposed to work?”
It’s not about the science. It’s about liberals controlling (and ruining) everything they touch.
