Powerful stuff. Here we have a combination that a historian such as Hanson might find all too familiar: a ruling class with an unproductive and hungry mob of supporters that finds a rich field for rapine by attacking the middle class from both sides. You get what you reward: if you punish achievement and reward strident and unjustified demand, you will end up with no achievement and all demand. "From each according to his ability to each according to his need" is certain to generate a bumper crop of need.

The underlying - and false - premises are that achievement is oppression, profit greed, property theft. All of that works much better in fictional socialist manifestos than in practical application, but it does sound good, and it feels good to tell oneself that the theft is justified because the victim is evil.

When American Plan Socialism unravels, it could all come undone rather swiftly, much like the Berlin Wall:

“And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved”

Even Americans, ingenious as they are, cannot make socialism work, except in the fatally familiar way.

See tagline.

What's powerful about it? It is one sustained whine by a pessimist in favor of losers.

I don't need the government or a policy or republicans winning anything, to prosper. I want conservative policies, but pretending my life depends on them is a gross insult and a lie.

And this is the Allensky pattern to destroy the American Government to replace it with Socialism. Obama is doing exactly what is necessary to crush our freedom and put us and our children in chains.
