As someone who's watched a family member die of pancreatic cancer (it's a horrible cancer to have) depending on how far along Kim Jung Il's cancer is, he can have anywhere from 3-6 months to live. Depends on any treatment of course.

On a similar note, I can't think of a more fitting way for him to die. The most painful cancer on one of the most brutal dictators the world has known.

A fitting end.

Propaganda just in: North Koreans everywhere will remember the painful sacrifice of dear leader General Kim Jong il and how he ascended into the sky in the form of a flight of cranes. In honor of his sacrificial death, all North Koreans over working age will fast for 20 years.
