All of these quitter-bots, including more than a few freepers, just don't get it. While no one doubts the virtues of persistence, there is a matter of judgment involved. During the Civil War we had a saying: "He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day." Knowing when to sell is the secret to investment success. Knowing when to change course is wisdom that can save your life.

As W C Fields once said, "If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Then quit. No sense being a damn fool about it."

Quitting isn’t what they’re worried about; its not quitting that is bothering them. - Had she wished to quit, she could have remained as governor, or run for the senate, but she knows that she is destined to greater accomplishments.

They know that she will succeed, and it is killing them.
