I should clarify in my last post, I don’t know he is a secret service agent, it just was my guess based on his proximity and age, take away the youth styled clothing and he seems to be a pretty fit, military style young man, much older than a kid would normally hang with.

Some posters posit that this guy is some Obama cousin, which seems more likely than that he's Secret Service. I'm sure you're right that the SS sometimes dress casually if they're covering kids, but this guy is way beyond merely casual. I really stunned the Obama would countenance their daughter, who is obviously a sweet, straight kid, being photographed with this guy.
