If someone made those comments regarding the Obama kids, Obama or his wife, they are wrong no matter the source, be it a veteran Freeper or a liberal plant, it is wrong.
One can make the observation that the kids may or may not be tools that are being wielded, but even a young girl wearing the peace sign (a symbol I abhor, not because I love war or hate peace, but because of the mindset it represents) should be off limits.
If she is eighteen and speaks her mind independently and publicly, that is different and she can be taken to task, analyzed or ridiculed as the case may be.
But as a dependent child, she is off limits. And that is the way it should be.
All we can do as Freepers is to voice our disapproval, admonish the poster and notify the Admin Mods when we see things like that. If the Admin Mods don’t clean it up, then we can sever or keep our association with FR as we see fit.
I detest Barack Obama, his policies and his practices. I can (and do) label him as a socialist, Marxist and racist. And I am willing to have the discussion with anyone, anytime, anywhere in any forum to back it up.
I don’t care what his race, ethnicity or skin pigmentation is, it is his policies and attitude towards this country I find reprehensible.
One of the things I appreciate about FR is lack of profanity on this site. There is some, I have expressed it myself. But we can generally and usually express our views without resorting to it. The same can be said for racism. If there are people posting here, we should take it on ourselves to police it and notify the admin moderators.
I believe these to be plants, but if we don’t police it ourselves, we let them triumph. And we cannot do that.

Sandra Bernhard issues 'gang rape' warning to Sarah Palin

Sandra Bernhard issued a blistering warning to Sarah Palin during a performance of her new one-woman show.
The Republican V.P. nom would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan, Bernhard said. Palin is said to be making a campaign stop in New York next week.
"[The gang rape comment] is part of a much larger, nuanced, and yes, provocative (that's what I do) piece from my show about racism, freedom, women's rights and the extreme views of Governor Sarah Palin, a woman who doesn't believe that other women should have the right to choose," Bernhard told the Daily News today.

I’ve been a freeper for years.
Freepers criticize Obama for being a liar, an illegal alien, a Communist (Frank Marshall Davis, etc., etc.), an anti-American (Wright), a friend of bombers (Ayers, Dohrn), a thug (ACORN), a crook (Daley, Blago, Rezko), etc.
Liberal bloggers and the lamestream corporate/government media don’t want to get into those issues. So liberal bloggers come to FR, post racist garbage, and then pretend FR is a “racist blog.”
Freepers have many SUBSTANTIVE, FACTUAL, RELEVANT, and INTELLIGENT things to say about Soetoro. They don’t post racist crap. And the liberals know it.
I’ve made the remark from the pulpit that many women in our WHITE churches now come to services more skimpily dressed than the “typical street whores” of a decade ago.
I’ll make that statement again, directly from the pulpit, when necessary.
I often see Sunday school girls raised in WHITE professing Christian homes dressed like hookers, showing more flesh or emphasizing more bosom than street walkers dared to show off not long ago.
One preacher friend of mine in South Carolina was invited to a preach in an unfamiliar church (unfamiliar to him, that is), walked in, walked back out, and checked again the front of the building. He said he thought he’d walked into a KFC, ‘cause all he saw was legs and breasts.
So, I myself fail to see what was so racial in those comments posted on Free Republic.

So, the author is suggesting that only African Americans can be "street whores", "ghetto thugs" and "street trash". It sounds to me like the author is the racist here(?)
The Language at FreeRepublic has gone to pot in the last few months. More foul language and rude comments have surfaced recently than the previous 6 years. Some slyly think they are skirting the language barrier by abbreviating or hyphenating parts of words out, but honestly I hate seeing the forum go the way of liberal forum like KOS and DU.
Please mods, enforce the language requirements on FR... please.
#1 - Obama and his goons were going to come after free speech/press/expression LONG before this.
#2 - It should be noted that this administration keeps a VERY tight control of what is seen and heard in our media. It’s gotten so bad, that even well known partisan liberal hacks like Helen Thomas are complaining. If you see something in the media about Obama and company, it’s because they want you to see it. That means they wanted you to see his daughter. And they wanted you to see her peace tee shirt.
#3 - Maybe some of the things said really were racially charged. But I can tell you as a white male Conservative I get attacked for my race/gender/sexual orientation/religion EVERY SINGLE DAY. And it’s been worst since the election of 2008 (and even a little before then.) I am REQUIRED to call them “African Americans”. Anything less is grossly offensive I am told. Meanwhile I’m casually referred to as a “RedNeck”, “Racist”, “Iceman”, “Bigot”, “Homophobe” and “Sexist Pig”. There is a stereotype about white people that is a constantly mocked and ridiculed. A lot of people are getting tired of this blantant double standard.
#4 - The media, their blog sites, their friends at colleges and talking heads are already coming after us tooth and nail. A lot of people are tired of taking it laying down. LOOK AT WHAT THEY’VE DONE TO SARAH PALIN. And the “conservative” talking heads continue to tell us to just ignore it all.
Yes - there a LOT of anger brewing.
Nothing worse than what Letterman said about Palin and family...the hatred directed towards Sarah Palin surpasses anything I've ever seen...
I want to know how those are racial comments. After all Obama is half white and his daughters a quarter white.
Are there NO white ghettos, white street whores and do ONLY black girls get abortions? If all that were true then they could be considered racist.
While these remarks are in poor taste please tell me how they are racially motivated? Or, are any poor taste comments automatically racist?
