Bill O'Reilly has called Free Republic a hate site and he may now have some ammunition to back up that assertion.

The thread was accompanied by a photo of Michelle Obama speaking to Malia that featured the caption, "To entertain her daughter, Michelle Obama loves to make monkey sounds."

submarinerswife, WE can be the watching eyes. We can (and should) assist the Admin Mods by using the Report Abuse button. This does not mean we stifle freedom of speech or resort to ‘Nannyism”, but if WE see something wrong, we can call people out on it and notify the Admin Mods.

I said nothing about Africa? Where the hell do you get Africa from. And guess what she is not violating any White house protocol. Was she at a State dinner? Was she at an official function where she was acting as a represenative of the administration and/or this country? Was she given a Title along with perhaps a staff? Was she aprised of her schedule?
Absent of this she gets to behave as a child. Who often make clothing choices that make their parents cringe. Me I would not have allowed it but I am rather strict.
I don’t even know if this happened at the White House. But keep in mind it is her home and as such she does get to enjoy her own time without worrying about protocol. Which is for public not private behavior.
The Language at FreeRepublic has gone to pot in the last few months. More foul language and rude comments have surfaced recently than the previous 6 years. Some slyly think they are skirting the language barrier by abbreviating or hyphenating parts of words out, but honestly I hate seeing the forum go the way of liberal forum like KOS and DU.
Please mods, enforce the language requirements on FR... please.

Ignore the negative comments. Who the hell knows who they come from? I think we have entered into a little postive paranoia.
I may not be a fashion expert either Jim, and it may not be racist, but calling an 11 year old girl a “whore” for wearing a peace symbol t-shirt is completely over the line.
Maturity and decorum may not be two of the standards that liberals feel compelled to follow when talking about children, but conservatives and Freepers in particular should follow those standards.
Just because the children were “used” by the President and First Lady doesn’t mean they become targets.
Looks just like most of the kids I see in the mall or in our church's youth group (or most 40 year old guys in Jersey for that matter). Thug is a behavior, not a dress. At that, if you watch rap videos today and the people who rap about thug behavior have taken to wearing three piece suits in the Al Capone fashion. Sweats for thugs is so 80s.
You need to use more exclamation points. It would liven up your reply.
We can only enforce what you report. There are tens of thousands of posts per day, we can't watch them all. This is a community and it takes the community eyes to go with our zot button.

As far as this site goes, I have no problem with Jim's policies. Some immature people do go too far. Some of the childish crap I see here should scrubbed because it makes us look foolish.

#1 - Obama and his goons were going to come after free speech/press/expression LONG before this.
#2 - It should be noted that this administration keeps a VERY tight control of what is seen and heard in our media. It’s gotten so bad, that even well known partisan liberal hacks like Helen Thomas are complaining. If you see something in the media about Obama and company, it’s because they want you to see it. That means they wanted you to see his daughter. And they wanted you to see her peace tee shirt.
#3 - Maybe some of the things said really were racially charged. But I can tell you as a white male Conservative I get attacked for my race/gender/sexual orientation/religion EVERY SINGLE DAY. And it’s been worst since the election of 2008 (and even a little before then.) I am REQUIRED to call them “African Americans”. Anything less is grossly offensive I am told. Meanwhile I’m casually referred to as a “RedNeck”, “Racist”, “Iceman”, “Bigot”, “Homophobe” and “Sexist Pig”. There is a stereotype about white people that is a constantly mocked and ridiculed. A lot of people are getting tired of this blantant double standard.
#4 - The media, their blog sites, their friends at colleges and talking heads are already coming after us tooth and nail. A lot of people are tired of taking it laying down. LOOK AT WHAT THEY’VE DONE TO SARAH PALIN. And the “conservative” talking heads continue to tell us to just ignore it all.

Yet, when dems talk shiite, do deeds that would make any rational person minimally, blush, get caught literally perpetrating criminal acts, both state and federal, they are given a pass. By whom???? By us, because we are way to effin nice and want to lick their boots so they will write nice articles in the paper and present us in a good light next Sunday?
Do you realize how many of the present administration are actual tax cheats, crimes that would put your ass literally in jail?
A R senator cannot even look at a member of the opposite sex, much less make any remark, less they be seen as sexist, racist, homophobic, taking food out of grandmother's mouths, meanwhile democrat representatives run male prostitution rings, and it is OK, because they are after all, Gay.
This country is figuratively and literally coming apart at the seams, with the stimulus bill, the cap and trade, and now the health care bill, and people are worried about what the left may think of our comments on an Internet board?
Screw them, screw them all, and if they were to dress their little darlings like trash, they should be called on it, just like I would expect someone to call me on if I allowed my daughter to go out in public dressed like a skank, a slob, or whatever.
And if she did, and had the presence of mind to know and be aware of her choices, I would accept her being called on it.

Yes they label you and convict you in their court of public opinion. They fear free speech. All our airwaves are censored so now they want the net, I guess. Obama is a failure, but they don’t care, they only care about following the orders that have been handed down, so they can keep making money and selling out Americans.
I didn’t here about the Ohio thing.
