They don’t read FR, their co-workers don’t read FR, their colleagues don’t read FR, and so they are totally ignorant of the existence of this thread and its revelations. If a FReeper like kristinn is asked on to David Shuster’s FR-bashing segment tomorrow, perhaps it would be possible to make mention of this thread on that appearance; it’ll be the first time Shuster will have heard of it, I’m sure.
Of course, it would be possible to make all the Twitter-using state-run media hacks take note of the existence of this thread, if FReepers didn’t have a casually disdainful attitude of the service. It’s pretty silly to complain about liberal dominance of the Internet while eschewing the opportunity to fight back, IMO.

Just because Kyra Philips has been told to go on a fluffing campaign for Epic Falin so McSame will go on Larry King, and Wolf Blitzer has given over his credibility to Glenn Beck all day long, doesn’t mean the rest of the media is going to carry water for this merry band of arseholes.
I’m looking at an entire newsroom right now as I type that has just decided to turn Palindrone’s speech off because they’re just sick of being lied to brazenly.
Spin is one thing. A fib or two is doable. But wholesale lying? That’s just not going to fly, and it’ll give Obama’s people ample ammo for the weeks ahead.
Trust me, Palin-in-comparison’s success among the Bush clones will not translate to success with the media. Not this time.
