I know a man who several years ago got a call from Visa asking him to take out a credit card. He was financially sound and always paid his bills in cash. He decided to take the card and filled out the info sent him. He was declined because he had no credit history!Happened to my Father-in-Law. He was p!$$ed too!

Since the method of determining the rate of both inflation and unemployment have been changed since Carters tenure in order to hide the crimes of our elected leaders I must respectfully disagree with your summation.
