The belts she wears are like Japanese obis, which are worn up high, practically under the armpits. Obimas?

Yes, but to balance it out the Kimono is floor length. Mrs. O usually wears a short skirt or dress with the Boob-Belt. The belt destroys line of the frock she is wearing. The obis determines the line by having you focus on the length of the kimono from ankle to chest. Mrs. O's use of the belt makes everything look awkward and ill-fitting.

The very painful part of this is two fold.
1. That the Obama’s would so willingly exploit their young daughter.
2. The sad fact that they have no sense of decorum or common decency. They dress the 11 year old girl in totally Inappropriate clothing for her age. I felt so sorry for her while watching the convention on TV and she was dressed in a low cut, v-necked dress.
Who in the world thinks it is ok to dress your young daughter like a trollop?
And this has nothing at all to do with “race.” Just common decency.

"Who in the world thinks it is ok to dress your young daughter like a trollop?"Well since I couldn't remember the dresses, I looked them up. I might be missing something, but personally I don't find them particularly offensive. They might not be your taste, but I think that the term trollop in relation to the dresses is perhaps a little strong.

Michelle desperately needs an intervention from Stacey and Clinton.

She is a pre-teen child accompanying her father, the POTUS, on the world stage at an international summit,
at taxpayer expense. The symbol may have been on her T-shirt, but the message to the world was from her parents,
representing the American people.
Minor suggested improvement to make explicit some important aspects there were only implicit.

Have either Michelle or Barky had nose jobs? The girls do look like them, but -7’s nose seems a lot more sculpted.

I agree with you, the daughters’ dresses are usually quite lovely. But Mom, on some days, I just don't know....but I have to admit it must be difficult to be
First Mom.

Thank you for your reply.
The dresses in question are neither to my taste or not to my taste.
They are not appropriate for an 11 year old child. One does not dress ones 11 year old child as a trollop.
