Yes, that is astounding. Astoundingly passive. Apparently you don't care how the community you are a part of conducts itself and is viewed. I do. It's called "taking responsibility". You should try it. Instead of just walking away when you see something offensive being said by a fellow member of a community of which you are a member, you should have the courage to speak up. If you don't, you will be tarred as complicit.
I NEVER, EVER, "take responsibility" for anyone else. You know, that's just soooo "Community Organizer"...so terribly, well....60's. No wonder you have such simpatico with the current occupants at 1600 Pennsylvania.
