She’s black, so she’s automatically from the hood in some people’s eyes. That’s the cause for much of the “hood” and “ghetto” pseudo-language thrown around on many threads.

Amen to that. And whenever there's a thread about some inner city crime or outrage, the excitement of some people around here reaches a fever pitch. Yes, the mainstream media too often distorts and ignores the reality of inner city crime, but I think some of our people here obsess too much in the other direction and take great pleasure in wielding the broad brush. The true conservative way is to remember that guilt and innocence and success and failure are individual issues.

Just a few weeks ago the overwhelming majority of Freepers were defending the EMT who got beat up by the Oklahoma state trooper.

So quickly you forget these things when you put your narrow agenda first.
