This is exactly what happens when you pick on the kids.
Five or six ding-a-ling comments out of 160+ doesn't indict all of us.
I agree. Kids should be off limits.
There, fixed it for you.
Stupid posturing and sermonizing is really inappropriate, since I am convinced we were set up.
Get a clue.
Unless its a conservatives kids...
Unless it is the Palin kids or the Bush twins, they can cry me a river because it is too late to worry about only some kids
Short and sweet; this is the best summary of the problem.
The only moral and smart move is to leave the kids out of it. Anything else is counterproductive and wrong. No matter how you slice it, it's lose/lose. Leave the kids out of it.
Beyond that, FR tolerates more far more ugly, non-conservative commentary than it should. I'm glad that it's showing up quoted in the MSM, and hope that the moderators crack down harder on it. You're never going to attract people to the ideas of conservatism if they think the members are of the same mind, but hostile to their DNA. What some here see as a 'criticism of urban culture', others interpret as racism.
The solutions? Don't say ugly things. Don't talk about politicians kids. Maintain a level of decorum appropriate for the exchange of ideas.
Fail to do so, and expect more MSM articles like this.
