I believe the best place to start building a common sense conservative coalition is the same place where most of that coalition currently resides. That place happens to be the Republican party.

Nope, they had a whole hell of a lot of power from 1994-2006 and blew it!

No not at all. A political party is not a single entity but instead it's a group of people. It was a minority of Republicans and their voters inside a largely conservatively party who formed a coalition with the Democrats that stopped the majority of Republicans and their voters from getting things done from '95 to '06.

So, its a weak group of people who let themselves be controlled by their own minority and the desire to be liked by the media and to be a member of this fine "club"of elitists in Washington DC..

The Republican party is begging for a split.

I hope they run out of money.

We have Obama and his coat tails today because of the Republican party.
