Exactly. She will not get a single invitation from a Blue Dog Democrat, but she will attract a lot of conservative Democrat voters and they will cross party lines to vote for her in 2012 just like they did with Reagan.
That's how I'm reading it too. If that's what she's up to, it's the best winning strategy an (R) presidential candidate could advance at this time. Encouraging.
I still think a Sarah Palin - Liz Chaney ticket would be just the dynamite needed to blow the dems out of their 2012 seats, metaphorically speaking.
