The link is to an audo clip of the 911 call. It is pretty graphic. I could not hear the shot, it probably went beyond the capability of the cell phone mike, and just was blanked out.

Another in a series of posts about this shooting in Belen, NM. It seems to be a clear case of self defense as a burglary is interrupted. I have posted several other posts on the issue to the banglist, as well as the transcript of this tape. The audio gives you better understanding. It was a good thing that Mr. Sanchez is a combat vet.

OK, so they arrest the hero, and now the freaking DA will rely on the testimony of the remaining BURGULAR to say what happened?

If ScummoBurgy tells the TRUTH, there is a good chance he will be charged with manslaughter or accessory to murder, so who doubts that he’ll simply allege that this hero ran up to them and one-sidedly began blazing away...?
