He’s not questioning Obama’s citizenship, he’s questioning whether or not he’s a ‘natural born’ citizen. There is a difference.

He’s not questioning the president’s status as a citizen, but his status as a “natural born Citizen”. If the president is not a “natural born Citizen” (and it would require a decision of the Supreme Court to define the term) then his election is null and void under Art. II Sec. 1 of the U.S. Constitution, and therefore he is neither the President of the United States nor the Commander in Chief of its armed forces. All orders issued by him via the chain of command invalid would therefore be invalid.

He's not questioning Obama's citizenship....he's questioning obama's eligibility to serve as president under the 'natural-born' requirement under the Constitution. Obama has said his father was a Kenyan national. Natural-born status requires both parents to be citizens.

I am a natural born citizen. I am also a private citizen. But you must be a natural born citizen in order to be eligible to the office of president of the United States.

See Article II, Section1, clause 5 of the United States Constitution.
