WASHINGTON — Supporters of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor are quietly targeting the Connecticut firefighter who's at the center of Sotomayor's most controversial ruling.
On the eve of Sotomayor's Senate confirmation hearing, her advocates have been urging journalists to scrutinize what one called the "troubled and litigious work history" of firefighter Frank Ricci.
This is opposition research: a constant shadow on Capitol Hill.
"The whole business of getting Supreme Court nominees through the process has become bloodsport," said Gary Rose, a government and politics professor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

Um, isn’t it? Aren’t they looking to personally destroy Ricci because they seem him as a political opponent? The fact that he is not an elected official is irrelevant just as it was with Joe the Plumber. It’s VERY Orwellian, in fact to a whole new level, isn’t it?

Currently PAW appears to be involved in a great number of lawsuits itself. Just looking them up gives you 25,400 internet hits.
Knowing that George Soros is behind this operation (Tides Foundation had its hands in setting up PAW) the suggestion is that George and his running dog lackeys do not think it fitting for the poor and working class people in America to use the federal courts!
What this means is every record that a person could have stored on a government computer will be looked at and if anything interesting appears, it will be passed to an “investigative reporter”.

That tactic should be used on every member of the House and Senate. Wonder what goodies the American people will find out? People who live in glass houses so to speak including the High Court. Let’s not leave out Ron Brown and Vince Foster. Let’s see where those investigations lead when conducted honestly. While they’re at it, a team of investigators can look for Zero’s birth certificate. Lots of investigating should be going on in DC and answers given to the American people.

True. We should respect those who legislate from the bench; but only if they legislate fairly and honestly. If not; they shouldn’t be on the bench.

Apparently, the “American Way” is digging up dirt in somebody’s life. Ricci is a public servant of the first order, and “People for the American Way” are anonymous creeps.

Other advocates for Sotomayor have discreetly urged journalists to pursue similar story lines.Okaaaaaaaay. Then I'm suuuuuuuure that the commie front group, aka: 'People for the American Way' (gaga) would applaud the legal equivalent to full body cavity search of the 'litigious' atheist Dr. (and lawyer) Michael Newdow..
How many medical malpractice law suits have been filed against him? How many 'complaints' were just paid off by his insurance before a suit was filed? What's his work performance record as a Doctor? Is he a drug addict? How many reprimands are in his record? Is he Board certified? Where did he go to Medical School? What are his Medical School grades? Etc, etc, etc.
And ditto for him being a 'Lawyer'. How many times did he have to take the Bar Exam? Did he pass? Is he licensed to practice anywhere? What were his Law School grades? Etc, etc, etc.
The same for his personal life: Why didn't he marry the mother of his daughter? Is he a 'Spouse Abuser'? Does he have an 'Anger Issue' - and it sure seems like he does to me. How many times has he been arrested? Does he drink? Is he an Alcoholic? Does he rent Porn Videos? Did he have pets as a kid and did he torture them to death? Did he eviscerate them with a Boy Scout knife? Did he cut off their heads and mount them on sticks? Oh, and what's in Newdow's 'Permanent Record' from Elementary and High School!
So yeah. Maybe the 'People for the American Way' are on to something here. Dig in and destroy anyone whose ever filed a lawsuit.
