Times columnist David Brooks says he has first-hand knowledge of senatorial libidos — referencing an unnamed, presumably male Republican Senator who planted a hand near his personal no-fly zone.
Brooks had MSNBC's John Harwood leaping out of his seat earlier today:
BROOKS: You know, all three of us spend a lot of time covering politicians and I don’t know about you guys, but in my view, they’re all emotional freaks of one sort or another. They’re guaranteed to invade your personal space, touch you. I sat next to a Republican senator once at dinner and he had his hand on my inner thigh the whole time. I was like, ehh, get me out of here.
HARWOOD: What?
BROOKS: I can only imagine what happens to you guys.
O’DONNELL: Sorry, who was that?
BROOKS: I’m not telling you, I’m not telling you.

The fact that Brooks sat thru that event with a man’s hand on his inner thigh means HE is gay also.
Gay men forget that the things they say make it obvious they’re gay. You cannot mention you were wearing sandals and a mumu, then exclaim “But they were so UGLY!” and expect people to conclude that you’re not gay because the nuance of the outfit didn’t please you.
It sounds more like he felt “a bit pushed/rushed” than “shocked or panicked” that a man was grabbing his inner thigh.
The only man I would let grab my inner thigh is Omoslem, so I could go on FoxNews 10 seconds later screaming OMOSLEM GRABBED MY THIGH, HE’S A MOSLEM QUEEN!!!!!!!!! .....over and over until he admits he banged Larry Sinclair in that limo, and the USA renames Obama to “Ohomo,” and the world realizes that democrats elected a blazing moslem communist.

A) Brooks is lying;
B) Brooks is homosexual.
C) Brooks lied about the party affiliation and is homosexual.*
*As Brooks shares a bath house with the shrieking fairies of the New York Times, (C) is the most probable answer.

With all the hand on knees in the Democratic party male and female; I would think this little episode wouldn’t bother them. Unless, it is being written for shock value.

I assume this happened to a much younger David Brooks.
My guess it was Barney Frank and Brooks was so excited by the touch he forgot what party Barney is in.
Either that or he’s just a f*ing liar. Which is what I basically think of him anyway.
