Oh dear! I don’t think I had enough hankies close. God Bless the wounded service people and God Bless this woman. I don’t think that she knows that she is really an angel. How does one say thank you?
To: SandRat
Bless her heart.
That’s gotta be tough duty.
Carry on Sgt. Watson.

She really is an angel. I am so thankful for her service to our wounded and to our country.
I had a horrible thought though.....does anyone fill in when she is off duty? Seems like this should be a 24 hour duty...not just a volunteer. Surely some officer has seen the great good this does.

Thanks for the post and ping here Sandy.
Army Sgt. Jennifer Watson, non-commissioned officer-in-charge of the Casualty Liaison Team at Joint Base Balad is truly a hero to so many in so many ways.
It helps this tanker mom knowing she and hopefully others like her are tending to our wounded during those last moments.
