I’m a conservative before I am a Republican. Why is Palin so divisive? I am not an evil person. Though according to her supporters I am. Conservatives are already united. Most in the conservative base already support Palin. What are you suggesting? A third Party? Why is it that you think the Republican Party isn’t conservative anymore? I think there is a leadership void. I sense much anger. Could it be that this is the end? It sure seems like it. My theory, there are political operatives,, who aren’t being honest about their real agenda, like Kristol, promoting Palin. Palin is a politician, don’t kid yourself. And she has gotten a lot of help from the so called “elitists” of the party. Something strange is going on. I can’t put my finger on it, but something very strange.
We identify with Palin. When we see eastern elites attacking Palin we take it personally. We see it for what it is, an attack on us and our values.
And to say she is “divisive” is simple attacking the victim.
Six republican congressmen voted for Cap and Tax. What repercussions from the party were there for these traitors?
It's the Republican Party going full circle. Read up on the fate of the Whigs, from the ashes of which the GOP originally sprang...
Palin is a politician, dont kid yourself.
Sure. But a politician who isn't a lifer; she actually had a career as a mother and a businesswoman before entering politics.Just a bit like Ronald Reagan, and that didn't turn out too bad.
When Rudy, Mitt and Huckabee can run for president as republicans, while crushing candidates like Hunter and Fred... There is no way the republican party can be considered conservative. Don't get me wrong, I like Rudy, Mitt and Huck. But they aren't conservative, their not even CLOSE. About the only thing they are conservative on is being pro-life, and then only if you accept their recent statements. Beyond that, they are for either gun control, Nationalized health care, amnesty, etc...
