If I remember correctly. She was singing his praises a while back in a way that put her conservative credentials in serious jeopardy. There are conservatives who don’t like Palin (for whatever reason), but NO conservative is worthy of the name who likes and admires the Zero.

I googled and can’t find anything that would indecate to me tha Noonan endorsed Obama. Based on my googling I’d say Noonan is definately NOT an Obama fan.

Palin is a politician, don’t kid yourself.
Sure. But a politician who isn't a lifer; she actually had a career as a mother and a businesswoman before entering politics.

Just a bit like Ronald Reagan, and that didn't turn out too bad.

What a has-been old hag. Maybe she’s busy these days performing unnatural acts with Dowd. They certainly think alike.

Please don’t exaggerate. There are plenty of Palin supporters here (I being one of them) who had doubts about her recent decision and voiced those doubts and then finally came to accept that decision despite those doubts.

Please don’t see a monolith where there is none.

Please don’t go projecting MSM-like bias on your fellow posters here.

Thanks.

I just got off the phone with my 74 year dad. He was so upset about Sarah “calling it quits”. I once again reminded him that he needed to read FR each morning along with his dose of FOX and the Northern VA Daily.

Once I explained that this was a flanking move, he got it in a big way. He said “well damn, she is turning their own game against them” and then said that he hoped he lives to see her elected as POTUS. I am going to do everything I can to assure that my dad sees that day. I will go to hell and back to see her lead this country back to where Ronald Regan left it.

I can’t recall the article right now - but she was definitely praising aspects of what he was/was doing. To me, that’s close enough. No true conservative would even express admiration for him - nothing there to admire!

Try this link for an old article: http://www.opinionjournal.com/columnists/pnoonan/?id=110010691

There are others where she seems to ride the fence while denigrating conservatives and even those not-so-conservative Republicans in favor of “The One”. One of the things I can’t stand about her is her total lack of taking definitive sides on issues of such great import to this nation. Perhaps she feels it’s “sophisticated” to do this; I just find it incredibly naive. The stakes are simply too high not to draw clear lines in the sand....

“Why is it that you think the Republican Party isn’t conservative anymore?”

When Rudy, Mitt and Huckabee can run for president as republicans, while crushing candidates like Hunter and Fred... There is no way the republican party can be considered conservative. Don't get me wrong, I like Rudy, Mitt and Huck. But they aren't conservative, their not even CLOSE. About the only thing they are conservative on is being pro-life, and then only if you accept their recent statements. Beyond that, they are for either gun control, Nationalized health care, amnesty, etc...
