We’ll just wait ‘til they’re born before we get rid of them. Presto - fewer abortions. We’ll dream up an Orwellian name for the process - Something like post-fetal interventional morbidity.

Lombardi said the pope was "very impressed" by Obama and that the pontiff was "extremely satisfied" with the talks. I hope this is just diplo-speak.

If Bacrock wants to reduce abortions, he can start by reversing his votes on abortion issues. That will probably happen the day the Lions win the Super Bowl.

At first I thought this is incredible. Then I realized that he must not have had his teleprompter with him. The Teleprompter in Chief was not there to give him directions so the guy just said the first thing tha came to his mind.
Unbelievable that they actually let him inside the Vatican.

President Barack Obama promised Pope Benedict on Friday that he would do everything possible to reduce the number of abortions in the United States, the Vatican said. Why? It's a freedom, a right, isn't it? There's nothing wrong with it, nothing to be ashamed of, right?
Could The Prez please elaborate on why he would wish to reduce abortions in this country?

President Barack Obama promised Pope Benedict on Friday that he would do everything possible to reduce the number of abortions in the United States, the Vatican said. He'll sign an executive order banning use of the word abortion. Instead his administration will use the term "manmade pregnancy disaster."
Then we will have no more abortion in the US.

Obama told him. Dont worry Pope, all of those young expectant mothers will be getting pre-natal care under my ObamaCare health plan. Fewer children will be born alive, and this to allow us to offer more government services to the older folks, reduce the worlds carbon pollution by US residents, and free up resources for the rest of the world. Problem solved.

Yup, the way to reduce a certain behavior is to provide more tax-payer provided money to fund it. Makes perfect sense.

I’m sure in some diseased corner of his marxist brain, Obama really does think that his policies will reduce abortions...

Obama tells pope he wants to reduce abortions in U.S.Of COURSE he does!!!! (wink, wink)
IIRC, he ran on the notion that a "woman shouldn't be punished with a baby for making a mistake!"
I didn't fall asleep and make that up, did I???

Obama supports abortion rights and says his policy is to change economic and social conditions so as to put more women in situations where they do not feel they have to have an abortion. Sounds like "Welfare Queens" are getting a raise.

No, his policy position is to “reduce the need for abortion.” Subtle difference - one that is lost on the media and most Americans.
